What ist BJJ?

Brazilian jiu jitsu (BJJ)
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a modern martial art that focuses mainly on ground techniques. It teaches throws, joint locks, chokes, and strong positional control, using balance and technique instead of strength alone. The goal is to control your opponent and make them submit, even if they are bigger or stronger than you.
The focus of BJJ is precision, timing, strategy, and smart body mechanics. It is known as one of the most effective forms of self-defense on the ground, which is where most real-life confrontations end. Through consistent training, students learn calmness, confidence, and the ability to act under stress.
BJJ is also a great full-body workout that improves strength, endurance, mobility, coordination, and mental toughness. It keeps you fit, challenges both mind and body, and provides steady and measurable progress.
BJJ is a lot of fun because as you improve, you learn new techniques, ideas, and strategies. Every class brings new challenges and small victories, keeping the training exciting and highly motivating. The feeling of constantly growing—physically and mentally—makes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu unique and inspiring long term.
BJJ combines sport, self-defense, fitness, strategy, and personal development in one — suitable for all ages and all levels.
